The 3-step model of the Scientific Board

1. The approval of a candidate is preceded by a probationary period at Wiener Privatklinik. After his or her approval, the candidate is granted the status of an accredited physician for an unlimited period of time.
    
   
2. In the next step, the accredited physician is included in the list of the hospital’s current accredited physicians, which is continually published in the Journal for Private Medicine and at www.wpk.at.
    
   
3. Finally, the accredited physician is awarded a certificate by the Scientific Board which serves as a kind of quality label for the medical performance of the physician.

General information

Assignment of wards and beds	Beds can be reserved with our admission office. Since the services of our hospital are used by a large number of patients, it is absolutely necessary to reserve a bed as early as possible in advance. In addition to our administration office, the respective ward sister and our nursing director, Gabriele Burggasser, will assist you with the administrative co-ordination.
Operation dates	In addition to the reservation of beds, it is equally necessary to book operation dates with the admission office in due time. The head of our surgical team will help you with any co-ordination matters. Please also inform her about the instruments and materials you need.
Admission check lists	Patients are admitted to our hospital by means of a uniform amission sheet, which is directly faxed to us by the referring accredited physician. This also applies to the requirement guidelines of the individual wards, which we have introduced for many of our accredited physicians, in order to facilitate the daily routine at our hospital.
X-ray	Our hospital accommodates the x-ray institute of Prof. Dr. Czembirek; the physician in charge is Dr. Kalinowski.
Physiotherapy – massage	Prim. Dr. Andreas Kainz and senior phyisican Dr. Hans Malus are the heads of the physiotherapy department at Wiener Privatklinik.
Pharmacy	Our pharmacy is open every day (Monday - Saturday from 7.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. and Sunday from 8.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.).
Laboratory	Our partner laboratory is the Margareten laboratory. At your request, Wiener Privatklinik will gladly make an appointment for you.
Invoicing	Wiener Privatklinik has entered into direct settlement agreements with all major supplementary insurers. If you have any specific questions, please contact our admission office.  At our hospital, doctors’ fees are usually paid collectively once a month, after receipt of the invoice and the respective payment from the insurers. Currently, payment is effected by the insurers about 10 weeks after receipt of the invoice, provided that there do not exist any settlement problems.
Medical director	The medical director of Wiener Privatklinik is Univ. Prof. Dr. Hanno Millesi.
