Promoting Wiener Privatklinik in scientific, technical and economical terms
Supporting patients in need who lack adequate insurance cover in case of medical emergencies
Fund-raising for charitable activities
Promoting the training and further training of the accredited physicians of Wiener Privatklinik (e.g. in form of the "Forum for Private Medicine" training symposiums for physicians)

For further training and science

At Wiener Privatklinik, first-rate specialists work in different medical fields and sometimes treat most complex diseases. However, a scientific analysis, which is of great importance to our work, often goes beyond the financial capacities of a private hospital, which has to be operated in an economical way. Therefore, Wiener Privatklinik for many years has organised symposiums which address topical medical issues partly for the purpose of further training and partly for the purpose of leading a genuine knowledge-based discussion.

Charity work

The Association of the Friends of Wiener Privatklinik is not only active in the field of further training and scientific research, it also supports patients in need. It is a non-profit association, which engages in charity work and supports people in need who find themselves in medical emergency situations. It happens repeatedly that patients need a specific treatment which is performed at Wiener Privatklinik but do not have the financial means to pay for their therapy, because they lack adequate insurance cover or come from developing countries.
