Univ.-Prof. Dr. Alexander Giurea, born in Vienna in 1963, was trained as a consultant for orthopaedic surgery at the University Hospital of Vienna under Univ.-Prof. Dr. Rainer Kotz. He acquired his extensive knowledge throughout several additional qualifications, for instance in the field of rheumatic orthopaedics, and during several stays abroad.
